In November 2025, Adam University hosted a plenary medical section entitled ‘Science in medicine: achievements and prospects’ as part of the scientific and practical conference ‘Vectors of development of modern science and education’ dedicated to Science Day.
The key medical speaker at the conference was Nurlan Nurgazievich Brimkulov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. In his speech, he noted the importance of scientific research, the introduction of innovative technologies and digital solutions in the medical education and healthcare system.
The work of the medical section was moderated by Moldotashev Ishenbay Kurmanovich, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor.
The section addressed current issues of environmental and medical safety, modern approaches to teaching in medical universities, and the use of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in disease diagnosis.
Presentations were given by lecturers and practicing specialists from Adam University, as well as students from the School of Medicine. Of particular interest were studies on the early diagnosis of cancer and cardiovascular diseases, the diagnosis of echinococcosis, spectral analysis of ECG, and the use of artificial intelligence in clinical practice.
